Next month on March 12, a special event will be taking place in Southern California to coincide with Women's History Month and the Natural Products Expo West. This event will not only launch a new professional network called The Well but also highlight women innovators in the consumer products and wellness space.

The Well, a membership-based organization, aims to empower the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and wellness community. Their mission is to engage with CPG and wellness companies to enhance the growth stages of their brand lifecycle and connect them with the necessary resources for their business advancement.

During the event, two women innovators, Rachel Larsen and Ozlem Akturk, will be featured. They are the creators of The Tiny Chef Show on Nickelodeon, a popular cooking show that promotes kindness and joyful activities. The Tiny Chef and his friends have garnered a significant following, with over two million Instagram fans and seven million across all digital platforms. Their collaborations with CPG brands have been instrumental in elevating these brands and are an example of the collaborations that The Well aims to foster among its members.

Honoring Joy Stoddard's Contributions to Empower Women Entrepreneurs

The event will also honor Joy Stoddard, formerly the Director of Development and Outreach at Whole Planet Foundation. Stoddard has spent over twenty years at Whole Foods Market, where she has worked tirelessly to empower women entrepreneurs globally. Her efforts have helped support poverty alleviation through microcredit loans around the world.

Supporting Women Founders and Building Community at Expo West

The timing of the event at Expo West is seen as ideal for building community and supporting women and other founders of companies that have a strong product-market fit and are on a growth trajectory. The Well aims to provide support in areas such as distribution, investment, marketing, and consumer insights.

The event will be held at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California, which is conveniently located near the Anaheim Convention Center where the Natural Products Expo West show will take place from March 12-16.

Brand Partners and The Well's Commitment to Healthier Living

The Well event is supported by brand partners led by women and other founders, including Andalou, Mineral Fusion, Travel Eeze, Vertage Foods, and other companies. These brand partners are aligned with the mission of The Well and share a commitment to promoting healthier living and environments.

Mark Nguyen of Planet LA Records, an event producer and co-founder of The Well, expressed enthusiasm for bringing together people, products, and platforms that add collective value in the rapidly growing consumer industry focused on healthier living and environments. The Well aims to evolve into a membership organization that offers unique programs and specialized services to support innovative companies in the consumer industry.

Celebrating Women's History Month and Setting the Stage for Growth

As Women's History Month approaches, the launch of The Well and the celebration of women innovators in the CPG space serve as reminders of the important contributions women make in the consumer products and wellness industry. The event on March 12 will provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and empowerment, setting the stage for a future of growth and success for The Well and its members.
