Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) is back for its 13th edition, promising to be a cultural feast like no other. With over 100 food stalls, celebrity chefs, and daily entertainment, QIFF 2024 is set to elevate Qatar as a global destination for food and culture.

Spanning over a massive 61,600 square meters, this year's festival at the Family Zone in Al Bidda Park is bigger and better than ever before. With Talabat and Ooredoo as sponsors, Katara Hospitality as the Official Hospitality Partner, and Doha Expo 2023 as the Official Venue Partner, QIFF 2024 is ready to showcase Qatar's rich culinary heritage.

A Celebration of Food and Culture

The Chairman of Qatar Tourism, Mr. Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji, expressed his excitement for this year's festival, especially in light of the Year of Culture between Qatar and Morocco. QIFF will strengthen ties between the two nations and showcase their rich heritage. All nationals and residents are invited to come and enjoy the festival with their families, creating unforgettable memories.

Renowned football stars such as Ronaldinho, Claude Makelele, and Pastore will be present at this year's edition, adding to the excitement. English football legend and philanthropist David Beckham also attended one of the cooking workshops organized in partnership with the Dreama Orphan Care Centre.

An Abundance of Gastronomic Delights and Entertainment

QIFF 2024 will feature over 100 food stalls and kiosks from international brands, as well as over 120 entertainment shows, 9 zones, and daily fireworks displays. The festival will host celebrity chefs from around the world, showcasing their talents through live cooking shows.

The opening ceremony of QIFF was a celebration of the Qatar-Morocco Year of Culture. It featured the local Ardah dance and a Moroccan band, followed by a choreography and interaction between Qatari and Moroccan chefs. The evening concluded with a stunning Paramotor Show at the Corniche and food tasting.

Celebrity Chefs and Culinary Masterclasses

Among the celebrity chefs participating in QIFF 2024 are Qatari chef Noor Al Mazroei, specializing in vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free food, and Moroccan chef Najat Kaanache, the most critically-acclaimed female chef in the Middle East and North Africa region. Also from Morocco, chef Faycal Bettioui, a Michelin star culinary leader, will showcase his Mediterranean-style food with a Japanese twist. British-chef Eric Lanlard, known for his expertise in creating innovative desserts, and renowned French chef Thomas Graham will also be part of the festival.

QIFF 2024 offers a world of experiences, with different themes each day, including a special Qatar-Morocco cultural day, seafood gastronomy, desserts, vegetarian and vegan specialties, spices, grills, food for wellness, rice, grain, sides, and pasta. Visitors can also participate in masterclasses and workshops to learn more about gastronomy and culinary arts and sciences.

International Cuisines and Exciting Entertainment

The festival will feature international vendors such as Neat Burger, Denny's, Grind, Crosstown London, Bachir Ice Cream, Koshary AbuTarek, Wok Boyz, Astoria, and Raju Bhai, offering a wide range of international cuisines. In addition to the culinary delights, QIFF 2024 will host live football screenings and film screenings for visitors to enjoy during the evenings. Daily fireworks displays will also add to the entertainment.

QIFF 2024 features 9 zones catering to different palates and offering diverse gastronomic experiences. From fine dining at The Lounge to dining in the sky at Dinner in the Sky, visitors will have a range of options to choose from. The Cafés zone offers decadent coffee, sweets, and chocolates, while the Main Street zone showcases regional and international food. The Garden zone focuses on vegetarian, vegan, and healthy options. The Stage zone features live cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, and the Heenat Salma Bazaar showcases locally grown organic produce.
